a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one’s life, to one’s home or homeland, or to one’s family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time.

I admit I have been feeling pretty nostalgic lately. I blame the weather. When it starts to turn, my heart turns to home. I have stopped pushing these feelings aside, I embrace them. Yes, it hurts a little. But, it never hurt anybody to hurt a little. When I feel it coming pretty strong, I just take a moment to play a good song and have a good cry. Here’s one of my favorites right now.
